Caramel restaurant is one of the best kept secrets of the Nairobi food society. Situated within the walls of the ABC place building on Waiyaki way, Westlands. It boasts of the a perfect ambiance, a mixture of bohemian chic and classic elegance within a serene environment. The atmosphere inspires one’s imagination to great heights, especially as far as the food is concerned.
Upon arrival, the first thing you will meet is a well equipped security centre. From the entrance, you can see a glimpse of paradise within, stretching out in blacks, browns, greens and soft yellows. The air is fresh and clear, and you are immediately aware of the incredibly spacious design space. There is a bar and a smoker’s section available to the (is it right or left of the bar? I forgot to ask). As soon as you take your seat, a waiter/waitress will approach and offer you the drink and food menus, service is both timely and customer friendly.
Better still, the food is absolutely exquisite. The food presentation alone calls out to the taste buds, almost immediately creating a hearty appetite in the absence of one. My personal favorites are the green salad as an appetizer, or the sliders. They both taste incredible, and it can only go uphill from there. But don’t take my word for it..see for yourself. One of the best things you will ever do is find the Taste of Caramel.
